Thank you for joining the second phase of the 1st Canadian Black Scientist Network Youth (CBSN-Y) regional science fair competition!
Students presented their work and Judges selected three projects that will represent the Canadian Black Scientists Network at the Canada Wide Science Fair (May 16-20, 2022). Other projects will continue to receive mentorship and can enter next year’s competition.
The afternoon featured a series of exciting online activities, and networking with other students from across the country. All student participants entered in a number of prize draws, including a draw for a VR headset!
Another feature of this free event was sharing ideas and practices among partner organizations providing STEM/STEAM enrichment for Black students in grade 7-12 across Canada.
