Ms. Bibiana Pulido

Researcher Ph. D. Candidate Centre de recherche interuniversitaire sur la mondialisation et le travail (CRIMT) University of Montreal

Bibiana has always believed in the importance of tackling the injustice that the most marginalized people in society may experience, and ensuring inclusive environments for all. This philosophy has motivated her to co-found the Réseau interuniversitaire québécois pour l’équité, diversité et inclusion (RIQEDI), a non-profit organization that brings together Québec universities and several stakeholders in academia who seek to promote and integrate the values of equity, diversity and inclusion within their institutions. She is the Executive Director of this organization. Bibiana is also the Director of partnership development and training at the EDI2 Institute. Since last year, she has contributed to the development of the customized master’s degree in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Université Laval. She will also coordinate and teach within this program. On the strength of her multidisciplinary background in political science, Latin American studies, management and industrial relations (with a specialization in human resources), Bibiana has contributed to numerous research projects as a researcher and manager. Her expertise spans innovative, creative and academic industries, wellness at work, skills development, knowledge management, equity, diversity and inclusion management, discrimination in organizations and unconscious bias. Bibiana is also a PhD candidate in industrial relations and works on knowledge development in video game clusters in Québec and Sweden. She is highly dedicated to teaching and supervising students, conducting academic research and practicing community engagement.
